About Securu

Securu started as a small idea between three people in Poznań who noticed how hard it was to find dependable help for ordinary household jobs without paying inflated one-off rates. Twelve years later, the idea is still the same: gather trustworthy local specialists, agree on fair recurring prices, and let residents of Poznań book them without haggling every time.

How Securu Began

In 2014, Securu was registered as a small membership club rather than a typical service company. The founders had backgrounds in property maintenance and administration, and they kept hearing the same complaint from neighbours: a one-time repair might be fine, but the price for the second, third or tenth visit was rarely any better than the first. There was no reward for staying loyal to one provider. Securu was built to change that arithmetic — members pay a modest recurring fee and, in exchange, get pre-negotiated rates across a fixed list of services, from small electrical fixes to seasonal garden upkeep.

The first year was modest by design. With a team of three, Securu could only take on a limited number of households, so growth was deliberately slow — roughly three dozen new clients a year on average since then. That pace let the same three people stay personally involved in most jobs, rather than growing into a call-centre model where no one recognises a returning client's name.

What Securu Set Out to Do

The mission has not changed since the first membership card was issued: keep the price of trusted local help predictable, and keep the number of people you have to call to get it down to one. Securu does not try to be a marketplace with hundreds of unfamiliar contractors. Instead, it works with a compact roster covering fourteen defined services — enough to cover most recurring needs in a household or small business, but small enough that quality can actually be tracked over time.

The longer-term view is just as plain: build something that still makes sense in another twelve years, not something that depends on constant new sign-ups to survive. Securu measures this less by growth charts and more by how many members choose to book a second job. Out of 432 clients served since 2014, 94 have returned for further work — a signal the founders pay closer attention to than any marketing figure.

Core Values Behind the Club

Fair pricing sits at the centre of everything. Every service on the Securu list has a published price, agreed in advance, so a member never has to wonder if the quote changed because it's a repeat visit or a slow week. Transparency comes next: members can see exactly what is included in a job before it's booked, and what would count as extra work outside the original scope.

Responsiveness matters just as much as fairness. A typical request gets a reply within two hours during business days, which is realistic for a team of three rather than a promise borrowed from a much larger company. And finally, there's restraint — Securu has deliberately kept its coverage to eight districts around Poznań rather than expanding city by city. Staying local means the team actually knows the streets, the older apartment blocks, and the seasonal quirks of each neighbourhood they serve.

Twelve Years of Practical Experience

Numbers tell part of the story better than adjectives do. Since 2014, the Securu team has completed 781 individual jobs across fourteen service categories — plumbing touch-ups, small electrical work, garden maintenance, window cleaning, and similar recurring household tasks. That volume, spread across a small team, means each job adds to a working knowledge of what typically goes wrong in Poznań's housing stock: which building eras tend to have older wiring, which courtyards need extra drainage work after spring rain, and so on.

Experience here isn't measured by certificates on a wall but by the pattern of repeat calls and the questions members no longer need to ask because they already trust the answer.
