About Securu

You do not need to know a handyman, a cleaner and an electrician personally to get fair prices from them. That is the idea we started with in Poznań back in 2014, and it still holds.

Securu began as a small notebook of contacts kept by three people who were tired of paying different prices for the same job around the same neighbourhood. In 2014 we turned that notebook into something structured: a club where members pay a flat annual fee and get pre-agreed discounted rates from vetted local providers, instead of negotiating from zero every time a tap leaks or a room needs painting.

Twelve years later, the team is still small on purpose — three of us handle coordination, contracts and member requests. What has grown is the list of people we work with and the number of households who trust the club. Since 2014 we have served 432 clients across Poznań and completed 781 jobs between them, covering 14 different service categories, from window cleaning to small electrical repairs. Ninety-four of those clients came back for a second job through us, which tells us the pricing and the follow-through hold up over time.

Why we exist

Our mission is straightforward: keep everyday home services affordable and predictable for people living in Poznań, without turning it into another marketplace app full of unverified listings. We do not sell leads and we do not take a cut from every job. Members pay once for access to the discount list; providers agree to fixed reduced rates because a steady stream of local jobs is worth more to them than one-off higher prices.

We see the club less as a business and more as a standing arrangement between neighbours and the people who fix things for a living. That is the vision we have kept since the first year: fewer surprises on the invoice, faster answers when something breaks, and a shorter list of phone numbers you actually need to save.

In 2026, Securu still runs the way it started: a small office on Wierzbieciece, a short list of trusted providers, and members who mostly heard about us from someone else in the same district. We are not trying to become a national platform. Our plan is to keep the list of 14 services accurate, keep response times short, and keep prices fair for the same streets we have worked in since 2014.

    Inspection of front door locks, hinges and strike plates. We tighten loose fittings and note any parts that need replacing before they fail.

    Realigning and lubricating window latches and handles so they close fully. Common on older buildings around Grunwald and Jeżyce.

    Smoke Alarm Testing (49 zł)

    Battery check, sensor test and dust removal for up to four alarms per flat. We leave a written note of which units need replacing.

    Removing leaves and debris from gutters on single-storey and two-storey houses, with a check for loose brackets and blocked downpipes.

    Filling holes from old fixtures, sanding and priming a patch ready for repainting. Covers up to three spots per visit.

    Checking railing bolts and welds for movement or rust, with tightening and a written note if a specialist repair is needed.

Terms: Prices apply to members within the 8 districts we currently cover around Poznań and include labour for a single standard visit; parts and materials, if needed, are quoted separately before work starts. Jobs outside a standard visit — for example larger repairs found during a check-up — are estimated on site and confirmed with you before we proceed. Membership does not carry a fixed term and can be paused between jobs.
